  4. Gday Guys, Smarty posted in the shoutbox to start a thread in here for any website issues. I have one. I used to use the Active Content button on the old forums, this displayed all posts that were active in the last 24 hours. was useful as soon as my Scrim posts and fun night posts dropped out of this 24 hours I then bumped them. I can no longer see an option for active content. Can we please get this added or me pointed in the right direction, or an explanation how I can keep these threads at the top of the everyones list. Drop down menus top right off member name not working assuming they will be drop down menus. Cheers Jinx. P.S. Website looks nice mate, very modern.

  6. what do you mean despite what jinx says?? Simple fact, before forum update no issues using forums through IE (I only used IE for the forums). Now countless issues, I too had the same issue as blackbox above while trying to post warthunder fun night post. Could not embed media links in post, formatting font was problematic and the link box was hanging as blackbox mentioned. Quoting previous posts also doesn't work in IE.

Round 1: Map: Roundhouse Game type: Domination Round 2: Map: Cliffside Game type: War Round 3: Map: Dome - Shotguns only - NO secondary, no grenades, no explosives. Just Shotguns. Gametype: TDM Game rules: Bolts only - no scopes - Iron sights only. No pistols use bandolier or pick up another weapon. 1 Rifle Nader per team. (Cappy) No grenades, explosives or things that go boom. (smoke, concussion, tactical grenades allowed) Crouch movement only, may only run to nearest cover if under fire. All 3 rounds to be played. CG start as allies on all 3 rounds.

What: Black Ops Scrim BK v CG When: Saturday 23rd August Where: BK Bootcamp Server Time: 9pm EST, 9am Asia, 11am AEST, 1pm NZ Additional Information: No grenades, explosives or things that go boom. (equip a tomahawk to avoid accidentally throwing a grenade), Tactical grenades (concussion, flash, smoke) are allowed, (might be an idea to attach the mask perk to lesson the effects), crouch to move - run to nearest cover if under fire. Hip fire is allowed as no provision for ads. All Members to be in TS 1/2 hour before game time for a last minute practice and kit sorting!!! Gametypes & Maps Round 1 - Firing Range - S & D Round 2 - WMD - CTF Round 3 - Jungle - TDM Gens, All hands on deck needed for this one, Blops scrim against the BK clan! Next week will be a Blops server raid practice i need all participants to be available for this practice cheers! Jinx. Having read this post I think what hodgy is looking at is a basic server rule set, that will reduce the number of questions the more experienced players will be receiving on a organized event of Arma. and keep the flow of the mission going to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience is achieved. I believe a weekly schedule, training missions can be kept to another post as that would be deemed off topic to Hodgy's original post. going on your list at the top Hodgy here is my $0.02: 1. General mission related chit chat to be kept to bare minimum during operations. Questions only to be asked once immediate area is secure. (i.e upon waiting for extraction, mission objective etc) Try and source the answer yourself before asking the server population. This will hopefully keep those questions to a minimum or at a time when they are less annoying 2. No discharge of weapons in secure bases. Weapons to remain secure until contact with enemy is made. This should be a standard rule for both of our servers 3. If you don't know how to you use an Arma System i.e. Planes, choppers, quads, vehicles. then don't try to use it during live missions time. Apply some common sense and practice in your own time. (there are plenty of tutorials for that sort of thing) Your questions and queries will be met with silence, or worse. 4. During live missions please keep non mission related chat to a minimum to enable member immersion in the mission. This falls under respect fellow members in our clan rules I believe. 6. During Arma III Missions, please keep to the mission objectives, ensuring compliance with squad leaders orders/ suggestions. This is to ensure a tactical based style of play that the Cartoon Generals employ. This I believe is an important rule to have, and would only be employed during mission events, based on the Scrim rules we have, I believe a squad structure should be employed on every mission i.e Platoon Leader, 2(+) Squad Leaders, Squad members. This would mean you listen to the member that is immediately above you for orders/ advice etc. Squad leaders can then be changed up week by week or if someone wants to give it a go. 7. language - keep foul offensive language to a minimum and never directed at another member. This is also in CG core rules 8. If you see something, say something... Call out Contact(s) with direction (compass bearing) and range to ensure all squad members are aware of location. Calling out contact with no direction is useless in the heat of the battle. Those are the 8 rules I can think of, It will give some structure to the Arma Events while not being completely strict and regimented as is the case of other military sim clans. Please edit or change as you see fit but once again talk of scheduling and training missions would be off topic.

Ambush --- A high value target ("HVT") must be escorted to an extraction point. It's one team's goal to make this happen and it's the other team's goal to stop this from happening at all costs. The HVT is only armed with a silenced pistol, but can pick up a weapon from a fallen enemy or teammate. Strike --- In this attack and defend mode a weapon cache must be discovered and destroyed. There are three potential locations for the cache that the attacking team must get eyes on. The defending team must set up a strong defense, and perhaps even make use of distraction to trick the attacking team into thinking the cache is somewhere that it's not. Vendetta *NEW* --- Each team has a leader that must be brought to an objective in order for the objective to be captured. The first team to capture the objective with their leader or neutralize the enemy's leader will win the match. Cooperative Game Modes Checkpoint --- Complete mission-based objectives in sequence against AI enemy. Each successful objective will respawn anyone who was eliminated along the way.
